Continuing to support our independent physicians throughout the coronavirus outbreak, Elation Health has launched a new resource center specifically designed to assist providers and their patients. We recognize that most independent practices are working virtually during the COVID-19 pandemic, continuing to care for your patients with innovations such as telehealth, and have made available a range of resources to assist you and your patients.

Our COVID-19 Resource Center has the information you need from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO), and other healthcare authorities, all in one place so you can focus on taking care of your patients. We have provided Resources for Providers, Resources for Patients, COVID-19 Industry News, and Elation Learning Sessions.

Don’t hesitate to let us know how we can help you deliver quality care to your patients during COVID-19.

Resources for Providers

As an independent physician, you need the latest information on how COVID-19 affects your practice and your patients. In this section of the Resource Center, you’ll find a help center with a long list of articles on subjects relevant to you during these challenging times. You’ll find articles on:

  • Billing & workflow recommendations
  • Using Elation to document and code for COVID-19
  • Frequently Asked Questions about patient forms
  • Ordering & Documenting COVID-19 Lab Tests in Elation
  • A list of other pertinent topics for your independent practice

Also included here is the Elation Telehealth Guide, which will guide you step by step in the transition of delivering care through telemedicine with minimal disruption to your care delivery and to the financial health of your practice.

Resources for Patients

Your patients are searching for answers during the coronavirus outbreak also. We have provided information in our resource center that you can share with your patients to help alleviate their biggest concerns. Here you’ll find a link to the CDC’s COVID-19 recommendations on protecting yourself as well as a symptom checker.

One major concern that your patients have now is whether they can safely go to the store and shop for the groceries they need. Resources for patients include guidelines from the US Food & Drug Administration (FDA) on food safety and availability.

COVID-19 Industry News

As news comes in that is relevant to your independent practice and your patients, you’ll find it here. We’ve included updates from the CDC, the American Medical Association (AMA), and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). Here you’ll also find patient educational handouts from the CDC that can be printed or transmitted electronically to your patients to expand their knowledge about COVID-19.

Elation Learning Sessions

At Elation Health, we are dedicated to the continued health and safety of providers, staff, and patients, and want you to have access to all the latest guidelines and tips while you are focused on continuing to provide quality care and managing a successful practice. These learning sessions will help you better communicate with your patients during these challenging times. Videos are available as well, to guide you through transitioning your practice to telehealth and to help you with telehealth and COVID-19 coding best practices.
